Hello there! My name is Kristen Ruiz and this is my first year as an assistant principal and my first year at Rivermont. I have been in education for about 25 years doing a lot of different things, but all involve my passion; kids!

I live in Hixson with my husband and step daughter. We have three crazy dogs and one cat who lives with us also. I love cooking, shopping, and listening to music. I am so happy to be here and we have had an amazing year so far!
